As founder and coordinator of the Alumni Concert Series of the University of Laval (Série de concerts des diplômés de l’Université Laval : SéDUL), it gives me great pleasure to provide for you a short description of this organization. The concept of the series is to program concerts of alumni and their colleagues in order to highlight both these artists and the University of Laval and also so that these artists can maintain their connection with the University. SéDUL offers musical programming without sylistic limitations and invites both artists with established careers and those in early career stages! Two to four concerts are programmed each university session and are held in the beautiful Henri-Gagnon concert hall at the University of Laval Faculty of Music. Entrance to these concerts is free, but a voluntary contribution is suggested.

Artists chosen for the concert series since the inauguration in spring 2011 include the duo Gaulin-Riverin, Trio Piacella, baritone Philippe Sly, violinist and violist Luc Beauchemin , as well as the saxophonist Alain Baril.
